About
My name is Patty Dowling and I have worked in the nonprofit community for over 33 years either as a Development or Executive Director. I have also served on several nonprofit Boards of Directors. I can help you and your organization with Strategic Planning, Fund Development Planning, Executive Coaching, and Board Development.
More than that, I have been there, in those really tough moments when it feels like your decision will affect the very future of your organization. And, those moments when you can’t imagine one more thing added to your already full plate. I have also been there when you are wondering about the role of the board and staff, and asking, do we really know what we are doing? I promise you are not alone in those moments.
Let me share with you what using research proven best practices can truly make possible. You already have the passion for mission and commitment to those you serve. Together, we can develop what your organization needs to respond to both today and moving forward.
I am a curious and thoughtful person who will work to educate myself about you and your needs. I bring to the table years of hard-earned knowledge based on real life experiences and best practice research.
My educational background provides a framework for my practice. I received my BS from Saint Joseph University in Social Work and Religious Studies and my MSW from the UCONN School of Social Work in Community Organizing and Policy and Planning. My personal commitment to mission and values based work that enhances the lives of others is what guides me every day.
